Skipper Derek was simply brilliant, we would highly recommend this day trip if you’re visiting the Isle of Wight. Derek made us feel very safe as he is a highly proficient sailor, he told us lots of great stories and my partner who’d never been on a sailing boat can’t wait to go again. The best part of the trip was we felt we could do as much or as little sailing as we liked, Derek offers a very bespoke service so if you’re unsure about the weather he will re-arrange for another day.

We already have some experience with sailing in general. We were specifically interested in experience with the Contessa 32 – a true classic, and in sailing on the world famous Solent during our stay on the Isle of Wight. And it was a great experience! After a thorough introduction and briefing we set sails. Derek was the best skipper we could imagine. He let us sail his boat and was there with helpful comments and a helping hand as needed. We also learned a lot of interesting things about the Isle of Wight. Thank you for a great trip!
